If you’ve read any of my work, The Gut Healing Protocol or my Smoothies ebook, you’ll know I recommend that anyone on a serious health journey get a good quality blender behind them. It’s simply the best way to get in a whole truckload of nutrition in a convenient way.
When it comes to blenders I’ve tried just about everything, from Vitamix to PowerMill to Nutribullet & I’m pretty stoked to finally come across a blender which I actually enjoy & trust using; The Omniblend Range.
I received an Omniblend V from HQ around 2 months ago & immediately put it to the test. In my family there are 2-3 of us doing smoothies each day (sometimes multiple times per day!) so there was no better test!
The first thing that I noticed about the blender was how quiet it was. I’d been used to a NutriBullet blasting away at the sound of an airline jet in the kitchen so the soft rumble of the Omniblend shocked me! I initially was concerned as I thought perhaps there was not enough speed or power to do a good job blending – but after about 45 seconds my smoothie was as smooth as ever. I think it works this way by allowing all the bigger ingredients to fall to the bottom of the blend, allowing them to be blended thoroughly.
If you’re deadset on getting up some high speeds, the Omniblend does have 2 options above the standard speed, but so far I haven’t used them – stoked. With the blender comes all the things you need including a blending stick for thicker mixes, a nut milk bag & some recipe guides. The jug is BPA free which is super important too.
One of the biggest things for me is it comes with a whopping 7 year warranty which means you can rest assured you’re not going to be forking out another few hundred dollars in only a year’s time – as I’ve heard is the case with many other blenders.
