Hailing from the wild and wooly Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia, TSR Coach Grant is poised to take your surfing to the next level through video analysis, 1-1 coaching and week-long international experiences.
About Grant
“I was always in the ocean growing up. Even Mum and Dad surfed. It was in my blood.”
Growing up in one of the most rugged, cold and unpredictable surfing regions in Australia, Grant had to learn very quickly how to adapt to various surfing conditions.
“It was tough, for sure. But you find diamonds in the rough back home. I learned very quickly how hard surfing can be, but also how rewarding it can be.”
Being surrounded by highly skilled surfers from a young age, Grant developed incredible skills in all surfing conditions, and has since gone on to surf iconic waves such as Teahupo’o and Puerto Escondido, but he’s interested in more than just the adrenaline rush.
“I love being able to use my deep understanding of surfing and the ocean to help people feel safe out there and to find more enjoyment in it. Helping people surf better and seeing the pure joy it brings them is one of the most fulfilling things i have ever done. I’m incredibly excited to be working with The Surfer’s Roadmap on this journey.”

TSR Retreats
Grant is hosting international retreats for those surfers wanting a deep-dive into their surf progression over one week (see here)
Have Grant analyse your surfing from afar via our signature TSR video analysis program. You’ll receive a highly detailed and comprehensive analysis using side by side footage and voice commentary.
Perfect for wave pool attendees with FlowState footage or Ocean-goers filmed on a high definition camera.
Please do not submit surfcam rewind footage or highly pixelated clips.
Work directly 1-1 with TSR Coach Grant on your surf progression. Meet up with Grant at the best location for waves on the day between Lennox Head and Byron Bay.
For all levels of surfer.
Blocked in 2-hour sessions. Take-home video analysis for each two-hour session included. You’ll be sent a calendar link to book your sessions in.
